Fire Buck History

The Fire Buck originally started out in service at the Mt. Clemens Fire Department in 1982. There it stayed in service, providing vital firefighting equipment to the people near the Lake St. Clair area, until it was sold in 2006.

The Fire Buck was later purchased by Kevin at Kevin's Lawn and Landscaping to be used as a water transportation vehicle for landscape installation. On October 5th, 2009 Kevin decided he had no further use of the truck and placed it up for auction on eBay Motors for $1,000.

The return trip home was filled with inquiries from random people curious about the Fire Buck. When the description of its future was explained, it sparked interest from future fans, even if they are from that 'state up North'. Refusing to fill up on fuel in Michigan any more than necessary, the tank was topped off in St. Clair Michigan, and was not refueled until we safely crossed the border back into the OSU friendly territory of Toledo on October 10th, 2009

The image to the left shows a photoshop image of what is planned for the Fire Buck. Most notably is a paint theme that mimics the Ohio State Buckeyes football helmets. Complete with metallic flake silver paint, vinyl buckeye leaf emblems, and the Fire Buck namesake, this truck is prepared to show what OSU fans are made of.

The Fire Buck was unveiled in early July of 2010 and was on display for every home game during the 2010 season, and will be for many years to come.Chronology
